LBR Staff Writer Published 25 September 2017

Bolloré Logistics has opened a new multimodal hub at Le Havre port in Normandy region of northern France.

A 24,000m2 warehouse has been inaugurated on the Logistics Park of Pont de Normandie 2 (PLPN2), allowing to offer various solutions to manage logistics flows across the Seine Valley.

The multimodal hub, which is also known as green hub, is in line with the group’s CSR approach, said Bolloré.

In Normandy region, Bolloré has around 110,000m² of warehouse space, of which 39,000m² in Le Havre.

Bolloré also involved in the conversion of the former refinery of Petit-Couronne into an oil storage depot and the modernization of the container terminal in Rouen, in addition to investing in the logistics park of the Pont de Normandie.

Bolloré Logistics Normandy region director Laurent Foloppe said: "As a partner of HAROPA, Bolloré Logistics benefits from exceptional visibility on the three ports on the seine trade - Le Havre Rouen Paris - and an attractive and diversified offer in the treatment of international flows.”

Bolloré Logistics Europe CEO Henri Le Gouis said: "Beyond being a maritime platform where we operate more than 10,000 consolidations per year or a warehouse offering all the services of storage, repackaging and value-added services, this new hub is indeed a multimodal platform intended to supply all the Greater Paris in which we wished to invest.”

Bolloré’s services expands across five core categories, including multimodal transport, customs and regulatory compliance, logistics, global supply chain and industrial projects.
