LBR Staff Writer Published 05 January 2018

Clipper Logistics has secured a returns management services contract from British multinational retailer Marks and Spencer (M&S).

Under the deal, Clipper will merge stock returned from stores and online returns secured from customers.

Later, the company will check the condition of the products for future resale and customer refunds.

Clipper will carry out returns management operation at its facility located in Ollerton, Nottinghamshire.

Clipper CEO Tony Mannix said: “We’ve worked with Marks & Spencer for a number of years, and I’m delighted that they’ve chosen us to partner with them on this comprehensive returns solution.”

Marks and Spencer operations head Paul Burns said: “Creating a seamless experience for our customers is really important. We look forward to working closely with Clipper to provide an efficient and convenient service that works for our customers and our business.”

In December 2017, Clipper expanded its contract with fashion Superdry label owner SuperGroup.

As part of a five-year extension contract, Clipper will continue to offer warehousing, store delivery, e-fulfilment and returns management services.

In November same year, Clipper Logistics expanded its contract with women’s fashion brand Mint Velvet.

The retail and high-value logistics specialist’s partnership with Mint Velvet has entered into the tenth year and will continue to serve from its Milton Keynes facility.

Clipper’s integrated solution is said to incorporate store replenishment, Click & Collect, global e-commerce support, wholesale supply and returns.

Clipper offers warehousing, distribution and associated services, as well as e-fulfilment and associated services such as returns management for the retail sector.
