Clipper wins new contract with LoveCrafts

Published 12 March 2018

Clipper Logistics has signed a new contract with LoveCrafts, an ecommerce platform, specialising in products and accessories for the wool crafts market.

The new five-year deal renews an existing longstanding partnership and will see operations move from Clipper’s Worsley facility to their larger Selby site.

Clipper first began working with LoveCrafts in 2013. The Clipper team have helped to fine-tune their supply chain and logistics operations and used their expertise to help set out a strategic plan for the future of the business.

Clipper chief executive Tony Mannix said: “We’re thrilled to be continuing our work with LoveCrafts. We’re looking forward to further develop their logistics solutions and supporting the growth of the business from our Selby site, where they’ll benefit from increased warehouse space, improved layout, smarter WMS and voice picking, to ensure more efficient and effective working.”

LoveCrafts chief customer operations officer Anne Bruggink said: “Clipper have been great in helping ensure we have an effective solution in place. Over the past five years, they’ve been instrumental in our efforts to build the business and develop the services we provide for our customers.

“LoveCrafts is a rapidly growing business and we have no doubt that Clipper are the right partner to cope with this increasing demand, and have the expertise, ability and agility to help us continue delivering a brilliant service.”

Clipper’s experience in the logistics sector has not only helped the LoveKnitting and LoveCrochet brands to improve their processes, it also has accommodated the business’ growth and expansion.
