CPL to support Geodis' logistics operations in UAE
Dubai based Centre Point Logistics (CPL) has inked an agreement with Geodis Wilson, a global freight management firm, to support its logistics operations in the UAE.
Geodis Wilson which has a network of 6,400 employees in more than 50 countries said the agreement with CPL will help develop its global network and offer its customers better solutions.
The agreement between the two companies is expected to further establish Dubai's position as a large logistics hub where international third party logistics (3PLs) companies provide contract logistics solutions to worldwide customers.
Dubai is located to serve the needs of growing trade, export and transportation of goods in the Middle East region.
CPL chairman Saleh Saeed Lootah said the company is pleased to have Geodis Wilson on its client list while supporting their regional growth and it is confident that the partnership will create synergies for optimizing its services and developing a powerful platform for mutual business opportunities in the logistics industry.
Geodis Wilson managing director in Dubai Sascha Geiken said the demand for contract logistics is very high in the Middle East region and the company is glad to work with CPL to further enhance its capabilities in the region and continue to deliver unique quality and customized solutions in the logistics industry.
