Published 09 March 2018

Imperial Dade has opened a new warehouse facility in Kansas City, Missouri, to expand its geographic footprint across the country.

The 80,000 square foot warehouse is conveniently located at 8750 Elmwood Avenue in Kansas City with direct access to the greater Kansas City region.

The facility is the 19th location for Imperial Dade, a leading national distributor of disposable food service and janitorial supplies. The new location will add to the company’s growing footprint in the Midwest.

Imperial Dade CEO Robert Tillis said: “We are excited to be growing our presence in the Midwest through the opening of our new warehouse in Kansas City.”

The company’s operations in the new facility officially launched on February 12th with deliveries to nearby locations of Balls Foods, a group of supermarket chains operating under the Hen House, Price Chopper, and Sun Fresh brands.

“It is an honor to partner in this new frontier with Imperial Dade,” said Scott Bayne, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Balls Foods.

Imperial Dad e president Jason Tillis said: “We view this expansion into Kansas City, our recent acquisition of Kranz in the Chicago area, and the broader Midwest region as critical to our vision at Imperial Dade of becoming the leading national provider in our industry.

“We look forward to growing in this market and providing area customers with exceptional service and solutions to meet their disposable food service and janitorial supply needs.”

Founded in 1935, Imperial Dade is a leading distributor of disposable food service and janitorial supplies in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Midwest regions and Puerto Rico.

Since CEO Robert Tillis and President Jason Tillis assumed their roles in 2007, the company has grown both organically and through acquisitions to become a leader in the disposable food service and janitorial supplies industry.
