Wared Logistics launches new warehouse in Riyadh

Wared Logistics, a provider of warehousing and inventory management services for general commodities, has launched its temperature controlled warehouse in Riyadh.

The 6,000sq m freezer/chiller facility will be operational by 1 January 2012, according to arabiansupplychain.com.

The company also plans to launch more warehouses in Jeddah and Dammam and other locations in central and southern Saudi Arabia.

Wared Warehousing and Distribution company expects that refrigerated warehousing under management by Q2/Q3 2012 will go up to 15,000sq m.

Wared Logistics CEO Marwan Alfadl said temperature controlled warehousing for finished products represent the higher end of the market.

"By focusing on this segment, Wared Logistics is firmly establishing itself as a professional third party logistics (3PL) service provider," Alfadl said.
