LBR Staff Writer Published 15 March 2018

WiseTech Global has acquired Netherlands-based logistics software provider, LSP Solutions, for an undisclosed sum.

Based in Ede, LSP Solutions offers customs and warehouse management solutions to its customers in the Netherlands.

The company’s product portfolio includes customs compliance management solutions, bonded warehouse administration, contract logistics and warehouse management solutions.

LSP, which is part of Alliantie Douane Software (ADS), provides logistics solutions to customers such as Damco, Geodis, JCL Logistics, Vos Logistics, Hitachi Vantara, and other organizations.

WiseTech will integrate the LSP operations within the company, and the acquired unit will be managed by Marco Pieplenbosch and Erik Wilting.

LSP’s software solutions will compliment with WiseTech’s integrated global logistics platform, CargoWise One, which allows logistics service providers to execute complex transactions in areas such as freight forwarding, customs clearance, warehousing, shipping, land transport and cross-border compliance.

The platform also allows customers to manage their operations on one database across multiple users, functions, countries, languages and currencies.

WiseTech CEO Richard White said: “Bringing LSP into the WiseTech group now deepens our reach in this important market which will benefit from the combined strength of WiseTech’s innovation capabilities, our CargoWise One supply chain execution platform, and LSP’s customs and warehouse management solutions.”

LSP Solutions managing director Marco Pieplenbosch said: “With WiseTech Global’s powerful development capacity and global reach we look forward to accelerating our capabilities and better supporting our customers’ logistics operations with increased automation, improved productivity and mitigation of risks.”

In February this year, WiseTech Global acquired Belgium-based logistics solutions provider Intris for an undisclosed sum.

Based in Antwerp, Intris provides freight forwarding, customs and warehousing management solutions to the customers.

The company offers integrated software and cloud-based solutions to the customers such as Panalpina World Transport, Bollore Netherlands, Rhenus, Gosselin Support Services and AML.

Intris, which is the only Belgian integration partner for INTTRA eVGM, also serves logistics services providers in the Netherlands.
